CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain futures were mixed Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Mar. fell 12 cents at $5.63 a bushel; Mar. corn was off 6.75 cents at $4.1050 a bushel; Mar. oats rose 13 cents at $3.85 a bushel; while Mar. soybeans was up 1.50 cents at $11.3250 a bushel.

Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Apr. live cattle rose 3.02 cents at $1.8702 a pound; Mar. feeder cattle gained 3.20 cents at $2.5165 a pound; Apr. lean hogs was off .30 cent at $.8587 a pound.
